The dampening pads should go on either side of the prod so that one vibration dampener is in front of the prod and the other at the rear. Once the prod and riser have been joined, it is time to string the crossbow.
You can either use a bow stringer to help you or employ an extra person to bend the prod enough for you to finish stringing the bow assembly.
